Things to do at Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris is not in Paris. The resort sits about 30-35 kilometres east of the city, at Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy, reached by RER A or by TGV, and it is a different kind of day from Versailles or Fontainebleau: no palace rooms or formal gardens, just two theme parks, parades and rides built for families.
Treat it as a trip in its own right rather than something to squeeze between two Paris museum visits — a single park properly seen takes most of a day, and covering both parks needs longer. Most visitors still sleep in Paris and travel out and back rather than staying on site.
April-June and September-October bring milder crowds and weather than the height of summer or the Christmas season.
